Clinical Observation of the Aplastic Anemia

Abstract
|
|
|
Author observed 3 cases of aplastic anemia and the results were as follows.
1) The cases were 2 males and one female, and the ages of the 2 males were both 21 years old and the female was 31 years old.
2) The causes of these cases, one male was due to benzene, one female was due to chloramphenicol and one male were unknown cause.
3) All cases were dead with bleeding and secondary infection.
4) The clinical course was prolonged by transfusion and administration of steroid
to a male case, but these blood transfusions and treatments with steroid not make
any good results for these cases.
5) Vitamin K, Adrenochlomin preparations and antiplasmine preparations had no effects for bleeding of these cases.
6) The more wrong course showed the more markedly decreased red cells, leukocytes and platelets in the peripheral blood stream.
